DSA Web Site

I started at the Downtown Seattle Association (DSA) as an unpaid intern in the Marketing Department. My boss, who was responsible for the website, left for another company a few months after I began my internship. The Director of Communications at the DSA asked if I could maintain the website. I didn't really know HTML, but she said she'd start paying me $10/hour if I could, so of course I said yes.

The website featured here is something we launched in 2002. As the Web Coordinator, I helped with usability, design direction, content creation, and maintenance after it was released.
